you are at the edge of a breakthrough right now...
you are standing at the edge of a cliff
youre scared of jumping
you cant see anything below, its pitch dark
you cant turn back, that way doesnt work anymore
you were forced here
for a reason
inside, you feel explosions of everything you dont want to feel
voices surround you, ideas haunt you, problems weigh you down
your tired of it
your about to jump
its so scary!!
but I have to...
but if I do, I might die!
but there is no way back. I must jump...
So you do, giving up everything...
you start falling
at first, its so scary!
while you continue to fall, you begin to accept that you are falling
there is nothing you can do to reverse it
a bungie cord, nothing.
as you fall, you realize how... wonderful this liberation feels
you are free
completely
as you fall further, you realize that its not so bad
and that... wow, theres something to this 'free' feeling
something inside of you shifts
something clicks
you 'get it' now
as you are falling, and feeling free
not seeing anything below you in pitch dark
becoming more comfortable with this scary darkness
and just having had a huge breakthrough, an awakening
this falling is ok...
and you are ok with falling...
no matter where you are going for these few moments
its ok.
all of a sudden, you fall into a bright blue area
above you now are the most beautiful clouds ever
looking down to see many vivid green trees
the sun is shining
birds are chirping
life seems wonderful here
and falling, you dive straight into a big blue sparkly lake
your fall has ended, and you float to the surface
and you swim to the top of the water
look around
and feel this INTENSE overwhelming feeling of awesomeness
this. is. the. life.
ahhhhh yes.
and you completely forget about the cold, dark cliff you jumped from earlier
because this place is way too nice and warm!
and you are here to say... forever and ever
and ever
and ever
---------------
this story is a metaphor as to what happens when you let go of your ego
and let internal changes occur
without your mind
... any problem you had on the cliff... stays on the cliff.
it cant reach you, or be a problem, when you jumped off the cliff
and all your friends and family and everyone you've ever enjoyed being with is here at the lake
celebrating, having a party
as you deeply feel a shift inside...
a feeling like you just leveled up in life.
